Alloland helps you blend into local life in Germany, with the help of someone who already has.
Why we exist
Moving to Germany, or reaching a new stage of life here such as having a child, means facing rules, forms and customs nobody explained to you. Forums are noisy and outdated, and official pages assume you already know the vocabulary.
Alloland connects you with people who have been through the same thing, and with a concierge that gives fast, sourced answers to the stable, factual questions.
Two ways to get help
Guides are real people: locals and long-term residents who share what they figured out, over a video call or a coffee. You choose them by the topic they know, such as a freelance visa, a Kita application or making friends.
Ask Alloland is an AI concierge that answers only from a curated collection of facts taken from official sources. Every answer shows its source and when it was last checked. For anything time-sensitive or high-stakes it points you to a Guide instead.
What we believe
The human and the AI are different things, and you should always be able to tell which one you are talking to. That is why people are terracotta and the AI is teal, everywhere on the site.
Alloland is free to use while we grow. We would rather be honest about what we do not know than sound sure.
